This agreement makes available to the health services a total of 166 rooms for the sick, in addition to the 30 RH VINARÒS PLAYA Studios designed to house the health workers who need it.
Vinaros (Castellon) has the first medical hotel that will provide support to the regional hospital thanks to the agreement established by RH HOTELS with the local government and the Vinaros City Council, who have made available the HOTEL RH VINAROS PLAYA for their medical support, in the next few days, COVID-19 patients who require isolation and have mild pathologies and who will be referred by the health services of the Regional Hospital of Vinaros, thus leaving free as many hospital beds as possible for the most seriously ill. There will be a total of 161 rooms with a total of 322 beds made available to health services.
Next to the hotel, the RH VINARÒS PLAYA Apartments are also part of this joint action to beat this pandemic. A total of 30 apartments have already been made available to healthcare workers who need it in the current healthcare crisis.
Work is being done to ensure that, in the shortest possible time, the Hotel RH Vinaròs Playa is adapted to accommodate the first patients who need it. The main function of the hotels that are undergoing medical treatment throughout the entire Spanish geography is to house those patients who have symptoms, which require medical follow-up, but do not need to be admitted to a hospital.
Since the crisis began, solidarity actions to contain and stop this pandemic have highlighted the importance and the joint work that different sectors have put in place. The RH HOTELS chain offered the Ministry of Health, through the Hosbec association, its hotels to be used as medical hotels, the Hotel Vinaros Playa will be the first in the chain to be launched due to the need in the Castellon area.
Also, the Hotel RH Bayren Parc, located in the Gandia (Valencia), has already been visited by the medical inspectors to verify its suitability for hospitalization and is available to the health services to put it into operation when it could be necessary.
